Speak English or German confidently in any situation! Our General Language course is designed for motivated adults who want to improve their fluency and accuracy. Through realistic role-plays and real-life scenarios, you'll gain the communication skills you need, all in a supportive small group setting.

This course is designed for all levels who want to gain confidence using their German in a variety of everyday situations.

Standard Evening Course:
You can choose from two options:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday 18:00 to 21:15
- Tuesday, Thursday 18:00 to 21:15 and Saturday 09:00 to 12:15
Intensive Course:
You can choose from two options:
- Monday to Friday 08:30 to 12:30
- Monday to Friday 13:00 to 17:00
A1 - Beginner
At the A1 level, learners are complete beginners. They can understand and use basic phrases to satisfy immediate needs. Simple introductions and basic questions about familiar topics are within their grasp, although communication is limited.
Understanding: Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce themselves and others and ask and answer questions about personal details such as where they live, people they know and things they own. Interaction is very limited unless the other person speaks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
Speaking: Can communicate in short and simple sentences in familiar situations.
Reading: Can understand familiar names, words and very simple sentences, for example on signs, labels and posters.
Writing: Can write short, simple notes and postcards, and fill in forms with personal details.
A2 - Elementary
Learners at the A2 level can understand and use frequently used expressions in everyday situations. They can communicate in simple and routine tasks, exchanging information on familiar matters.
Understanding: Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to common situations (e.g., personal information, shopping, local geography, employment).
Speaking: Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar matters. Can describe experiences and events in simple terms.
Reading: Can read short, simple texts (e.g., advertisements, product packaging, simple personal letters).
Writing: Can write short, simple notes and messages, and fill out forms with personal details.
B1 - Intermediate
Learners can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. They can deal with situations likely to arise while traveling in an area where the language is spoken.
Understanding: Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
Speaking: Can deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling in an area where the language is spoken. Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions, and briefly give reasons for opinions and plans.
Reading: Can understand the main ideas from texts on topics regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
Writing: Can write simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. Can write personal letters describing experiences and impressions.
B2 - Upper intermediate
Learners at the B2 level can understand complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field of specialization. They can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible.
Understanding: Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field of specialization.
Speaking: Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can express ideas clearly and in detail on a wide range of subjects.
Reading: Can read articles and reports on a wide range of contemporary issues in which the writers adopt particular viewpoints. Can understand the description of technical and vocational topics within their field of specialization.
Writing: Can write clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
C1 - Advanced
Learners can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognize implicit meaning. They can express themselves fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions.

C2 - Proficient
Learners at the C2 level can understand virtually everything heard or read. They can summarize information from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation.

Reading: Can understand any kind of written text, however specialized or implicit.
