1. Scope

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) govern the contractual relationship between consumers or entrepreneurs (“customer”) and Atlas Languages, an online language school based at

1.2 A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for a purpose that cannot be attributed to their commercial or independent professional activity (Section 13 BGB). An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person or a partnership who, when concluding a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of their commercial or independent professional activity (Section 14 BGB).

1.3 Customer's own terms and conditions are excluded unless expressly agreed upon.

2. Conclusion of Contract

2.1 All online offers by Atlas Languages represent a binding offer to conclude a contract. Customers accept the offer by registering and completing payment which maybe through digital methods or in person.

2.2 By accepting these terms, the customer agrees that Atlas Languages may start the service before the end of any cancellation period.

2.3 Contracts can also be concluded by signing an online agreement, valid exclusively under these GTC.

3. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

Cancellation Policy

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within ten days without providing a reason. The withdrawal period begins on the date of contract conclusion.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, contact Atlas Languages either by email or written letter (Georg-Löwel-Straße 26, 67549 Worms. Email: info@atlaslanguages.com) with a clear statement of withdrawal.

Consequences of Cancellation

If the contract is canceled, all payments received will be reimbursed, less any fees for services already provided if the service began during the cancellation period.

4. Price Information and Payment Conditions

4.1 The prices at the time of booking apply to the services.

4.2 Payment is due in advance of services rendered, with available options including bank transfer, direct debit, or credit card.

4.3 If the participant is unable to attend the course due to illness or other foreseeable reasons beyond his/her control, he/she must inform the provider immediately and state the reasons. The provider can request proof of the inability to attend and offer the participant an alternative extension of the course. The participant has no right to this.

5. Special Conditions

5.1 General Conditions

  • A session lasts 45 minutes.
  • Atlas Languages does not guarantee specific learning outcomes.
  • In case of cancellations by Atlas Languages, customers will be refunded for unused services.

5.2 Private Lessons

5.2.1 Payment is required before the start of lessons.
5.2.2 Missed sessions are non-refundable.
5.2.3 Lessons must be completed within 12 months of purchase.

5.3 Group Lessons

5.3.1 Group classes renew monthly.
5.3.2 Class cancellations due to public holidays will not be compensated but can be rescheduled if possible.
5.3.3 Atlas Languages reserves the right to adjust group sizes and transfer participants between classes.

5.4 Technical Requirements and Liability

5.4.1 Customers are responsible for meeting minimum technical requirements.
5.4.2 Atlas Languages is not liable for issues due to technical problems on the customer’s side.

6. Data Protection

6.1 Atlas Languages will handle all customer data in compliance with the GDPR. The full data protection policy can be viewed at Datenschutzerklärung.

7. Place of Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

7.1 The place of performance and jurisdiction is Worms, Germany.
7.2 German law applies, excluding the CISG.

8. Final Provisions

8.1 In the event of disputes over translations, the German version of these terms will prevail.

8.2 Changes to the contract require written confirmation.

8.3 Invalid provisions will be replaced by statutory regulations. Individual agreements (Section 305b BGB) take precedence for consumers.

9. Storage of Personal Data:

9.1 For the purpose of managing the courses, the provider uses electronic data processing.

9.2 The following data is collected when you register: first and last name, address, date of birth, professional status, email address, landline number and/or mobile phone number. The data will not be passed on to third parties.
